Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement product marketing strategies aligned with global business objectives while supporting growth within ABB's Low Voltage Systems portfolio. You will work closely with sales, customers, and regional stakeholders to develop market opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and drive profitable business growth through innovative solutions and technical expertise.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Business in Korea. Main stakeholders include Sales teams, Product Groups, Customers, Order Handling, Logistics, and Regional Marketing teams.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Implementing product marketing strategies and communicating compelling value propositions and product positioning in alignment with global product marketing direction.
- Achieving product marketing targets and budgets through effective business planning, market analysis, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Driving business growth by developing customer-focused Low Voltage System solutions and supporting front-line sales teams with technical and commercial expertise.
- Executing annual marketing plans, delivering product training, and developing promotional materials to strengthen market competitiveness and customer engagement.
- Building strong customer relationships while collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance.
You will join a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performing team, where innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement are encouraged and rewarded.
Qualifications for the role
- University degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of direct sales, product marketing, or business development experience within low voltage switchgear, electrical systems, or related products.
- Strong technical knowledge of low voltage switchgear, power distribution, and electrical infrastructure solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop technical and commercial proposals, support complex customer solutions, and collaborate effectively with sales teams.
- Experience conducting market analysis, evaluating customer and competitor insights, and developing strategies to drive business growth.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation, ownership, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
- Business-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
