Description
General Function:
The Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant is responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and other payables in compliance with hospital policies and accounting standards. This position ensures the accuracy and timeliness of payments while maintaining strong internal controls and supporting the overall financial health of the hospital.
Educational Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
Experience Requirements: 2–4 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred. Relevant accounting, finance, or accounts payable internship experience may be considered toward this requirement.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Special Requirements:

-Familiarity with healthcare accounting and vendor payment processes
