Director of Food Services | Katzman Family Center for Living
$65,000 - $95,000/annually, based on experience
Full-Time | 40hrs per week

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Oversee Food Service Operations: Direct all daily food service operations, including meal preparation, production, service, and sanitation, ensuring high-quality, nutritious, and appealing meals for residents in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Leadership & Staff Development: Train, supervise, and develop dietary team members while promoting accountability, teamwork, and a positive, resident-focused work environment.
• Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with CMS, state, local, and Department of Public Health regulations, including food safety, sanitation, infection prevention, therapeutic diets, and nutritional standards.
• Resident Satisfaction & Nutritional Care: Collaborate with nursing, dietitians, and interdisciplinary teams to meet residents' individual dietary needs, accommodate preferences, oversee menu planning, and enhance the overall dining experience.

Qualifications for Success:

• Previous food service management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, therapeutic diets, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with experience in staff supervision, budgeting, inventory management, and menu planning.
• ServSafe Manager's certification and Certified Food Protection Manager certifications required
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, both verbally and written, is preferred
