About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

We are seeking a Product Marketing Senior Lead with strong content strategy expertise to shape the quality, distinctiveness, and impact of our blog, thought leadership, and broader content ecosystem.

This role is designed for a technically fluent PMM who understands AI and enterprise software deeply and can translate that expertise into compelling, differentiated storytelling that captures attention and keeps audiences coming back.

You will operate as a strategic storyteller, hands-on content creator, and editor, personally developing high-impact content while also identifying unique angles, elevating overall quality, and ensuring our work stands out in a crowded and rapidly evolving AI market.

You will go beyond surface-level narratives by working directly with subject matter experts, understanding competitive positioning, and uncovering the real story behind transformation—including the product innovation, as well as the people, process, and operating model changes required to make it successful.

Critically, you will be responsible for driving measurable impact, not just producing content. You will think deeply about how content attracts and grows an audience, increases engagement, and drives meaningful outcomes such as subscriber growth, repeat readership, and conversion across channels.

You will also leverage AI to accelerate content creation, generate new ideas, and build scalable tools (e.g., Gems, templates, workflows) that enable teams across marketing to produce high-quality, editorial-grade content more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Product-Led Storytelling

  • Write and develop original, high-impact content that translates complex AI and software concepts into:

    • Clear, engaging narratives

    • Compelling use cases

    • Differentiated positioning

  • Develop a deep understanding of Salesforce products and platform capabilities to clearly articulate:

    • What makes our technology unique

    • Why it matters in real-world scenarios

  • Identify and develop distinctive story angles that highlight:

    • Product innovation

    • Real-world applications

    • Customer value and outcomes

    • The people and process changes required for transformation

Editorial Strategy, Insights & Competitive Positioning

  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar grounded in:

    • Audience needs

    • Product innovation

    • Market and competitive insights

  • Actively monitor competitor and industry content to:

    • Identify narrative gaps and opportunities

    • Ensure Salesforce leads, not follows, in defining key topics and positions

  • Interview subject matter experts, practitioners, and leaders to:

    • Extract insights, lessons learned, and real-world nuance

    • Uncover stories that go beyond surface-level success

  • Author flagship thought leadership, guides, and long-form content that:

    • Builds a repeat audience

    • Feels editorial (not promotional)

    • Positions Salesforce as a leader in AI and the Agentic Enterprise

AI-Enabled Content Creation & Scale

  • Use AI tools to:

    • Generate and refine story ideas

    • Accelerate drafting and iteration

    • Synthesize complex inputs from multiple stakeholders

  • Build scalable tools such as:

    • Gems

    • Prompt libraries

    • Templates

That enable content creators to:

  • Self-serve high-quality content

  • Maintain editorial standards

Multi-Channel Storytelling (Blog, Video, Social)

  • Create and adapt content across formats, including:

    • Blog

    • Video

    • Social

    • Newsletters

  • Identify how to tailor stories for:

    • Different audiences

    • Different channels

    • Different levels of technical depth

Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years of experience in product marketing, content strategy, or editorial roles, ideally in AI, SaaS, or technical domains

  • Strong understanding of AI, software, or enterprise technology concepts

  • Demonstrated ability to write and publish high-quality, differentiated content that translates technical concepts into compelling narratives

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills

  • Proven ability to:

    • Develop distinctive story angles

    • Interview SMEs and extract meaningful insights

    • Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content

  • Experience incorporating competitive and market insights into content strategy

  • Experience or strong interest in:

    • AI tools for content creation and workflow acceleration

    • Building scalable content systems (templates, prompts, frameworks)

  • Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging content

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and technical teams
