Position Responsibilities:
- Assist Dietitian in conducting nutrition groups and reviewing daily food journals to assess patients’ nutritional intake throughout treatment;
- Work with vendors to facilitate ordering patient meals;
- Keep track food inventory and completing meal set up;
- Assist with nutritional assessments and establish individual food plans as needed to initiate patients into appropriate eating patterns and making proper menu choices;
- Participate in weekly rounds and mini teams as needed.
Requirements
Education, Competencies and Credentials:
- Registered Dietetic Technician or RD eligible is required
- Experience working with patients with eating disorders preferred
- Appropriate education based on credentials - Associates degree minimum.
Hours: Monday-Friday 40 hours a week and some evening hours.
