Placement Officer

Job Summary:To obtain employment and experiential opportunities in business, and industry for students of TECSWAN. To counsel, prepare and enhance the hiring potential of students in the job market. To assist in the internships and placement of students.Educational Qualification: MBA (Human Resources)Responsibilities:Placements & Internshipsa) To improve the quality of placements in terms of job opportunities, and quality of companies and increase the average salaries at regular intervals.b) To collect the job announcement/description - requirements, job details, and specifications from the representatives of each interested organization and share the same with the students - in a timely manner. Corporate relationship & coordination a) The key task is to bring in new clientele and manage relationships with existing corporate clients b) To correspond to prospective companies. c) Follow up on hiring steps to receive placement confirmation, joining date, offer letter, etc. d) Track all placements either through systemized methods e) To share the database of eligible aspirants with the prospective companies based on the stipulated criteriaf) Sharing industry feedback, and trends with students and the Management. g) To arrange skill development training for students such as soft skills, communication, interview skills, mock interviews, interpersonal skills etc. h) Design and deliver training for students in consultation with the Managementi) Guide students for successful results at the interview, before the interview process j) Participate in various student assessments with trainers to evaluate the student for potential placementsk) To assist students from Interview to on-boarding, and complete student career cycle. Other attributes: 1. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills 2. High Integrity 3. Knowledge of Industry demographics will be an added advantage 4. Adopt using MS suites with proficiency in MS Excel 5. Willingness to travel as per professional requirements
