Description
Develop and deliver software to meet mission partner requirements. Develop both user and developer-level documentation. Participate in setting the team's technical direction in alignment with operational requirements and the sponsor's technical roadmap. Primary Level Salary Range: $125,300.00 - $187,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $156,400.00 - $234,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. Minimum education and experience are 5 years' experience with Bachelor's in Science; 3 years' experience with Masters; 1 years' experience with PhD. Proficient in C#, C++, or C. Experience developing software on Agile teams with a strong track record of delivering solutions. Strong creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to visualize and implement innovative solutions to problems. Strong ability to collaborate and excel on a team. Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance with poly to be considered. TS/SCI with poly eligibility must be in place by the start date and must stay in place through employment. Minimum education and experience are 8 years' experience with Bachelor's in Science; 6 years' experience with Masters; 4 years' experience with PhD. Proficient in C#, C++, or C. Experience developing using .NET Framework on Windows. Experience with Python or Ruby scripting languages. Experience developing software on Agile teams with a strong track record of delivering solutions. Knowledge of software development life cycle. Strong creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to visualize and implement innovative solutions to problems. Strong ability to collaborate and excel on a team. Knowledge of radio frequency (RF), and/or satellite/terrestrial communications systems and techniques. Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems, particularly Zephyr RTOS. Experience developing software for embedded systems using C/C++. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Powershell, or Perl. Experience with Java programming language. Experience with Xilinx software. Experience working with Microsoft Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, work item tracking, and project management. Experience writing software design documentation with Doxygen or other documentation tools. Familiarity with Git version control system.
