Description:

Transport supervisor position.  Dayshift Monday through Friday.  Hours can vary.

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director, the central transport supervisor is responsible for the transporters and the transportation of patients throughout the hospital. Additionally, he/she coordinates the day-today activities of the department, assures delivery of objects to patient care areas and ensures that transport equipment is properly maintained.

II. Position Requirements:

A. Education: A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.

B: Experience: Hospital Supervisor or related experience preferred but not required. On the job training provided.

C. Special Qualifications: Must be familiar with equipment used in lifting and transporting patients. Must be familiar with personnel policies within the hospital and the dep
