We currently have exciting opportunities for Full Time Temporary Mix Operators to join our operations team. Reporting into the Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing, supporting and effectively operating plant equipment across different departments at our manufacturing sites in Colac.

Please note, a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen will be required as part of the recruitment process

Hours (rotating roster):

Successful applicants will be required to work on a rotating roster across multiple days and shift times, including:

Hour’s dependent on assigned departments, please see hours below.

• Morning 2am-10am 
• Afternoon 10am-6pm 
• Overnight 6pm - 2am 

• Morning 5am – 1pm
• Afternoon 1pm- 9pm

Pay:

• Rates from $30 per hour with increases after 1 & 3 months
• Additional penalty rates and allowances including 15% loading for morning and afternoon shifts and 30% for night shift apply!

What’s the Scoop?

• Operate and control process machinery which may include several pieces of equipment that are manually, semi automatically, or automatically controlled
• Work within a small team to meet production requirements which include machine set up and the operation of relevant workstation
• Maintain the supply of product to ensure continuity of operations, including liaison with Logistics and Production teams
• Collect and identify samples
• Maintain documentation pertinent to the work area
• Undertake training appropriate to the role and provide basic training to other individuals where required
• Promote Safety, Quality and Process within the business
• Participate in continuous improvement activities as required
• Ability to work effectively either individually or in a team environment under routine supervision

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to comply with all standards in relation to Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, Hygiene, Quality Assurance and Conduct
• Ability to identify faults or hazards, and initiate corrective actions
• Reliable & hard-working
• Working in a team environment
• Not essential but would be preferred to have an understanding of the homogenisation processes and pasteurisation.
