St. Catherine’s is located on the north shore of Long Island in Smithtown. The campus is comprised of 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital; a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. Responsibilities

Operating Room Nurse/Wound care Manager Responsibilities :

• Coordinates and administers patient care services within the Operating Room and Wound Care on a 24 hour basis.
• Performs a variety of clinical responsibilities related to administration of patient services.
• Provides care that reflects an understanding of individual cultural and religious diversities and needs as well as recognition of patient rights.
• Maintains professional development.

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
• Operating Room and Wound Care experience 
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred
• Current New York State RN License required.
• BLS, ACLS and CNOR certifications required.

Pay Range

USD $128,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
