Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Console in Tukwila, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access activity, respond to alarms as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions needing attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and assist with visitor, delivery, and contractor processing in accordance with location policies.
• Support property operations by communicating with onsite personnel, following post orders, and helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptions within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to use a computer or tablet comfortably is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
