- Full-Stack Development: Design and develop application components using React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
- API & Integration: Design secure REST APIs and integration patterns to support internal modules and future external integrations.
- Database Design: Oversee relational data modelling, schema design, transaction handling, audit logging, and reporting-ready data structures.
- Cloud Application Readiness: Work with the Infrastructure Team to deploy applications into AWS environments.
- CI/CD & Release: Familiar with configuration and maintain application-level CI/CD pipelines, build processes, deployment scripts, and environment-specific configurations.
- Security & Code Quality: Act as the team's Security Champion by embedding secure coding, code reviews, SAST, dependency scanning, secret scanning, and vulnerability remediation into the sprint process.
- VAPT Readiness: Coordinate remediation of security findings from code scanning, DAST, and formal VAPT reports.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience, with experience leading a small engineering team.

- Backend: Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, or NestJS.
- Database: Strong experience with PostgreSQL, relational database design, SQL optimisation, data integrity, and migration scripts. Experience with non-relational databases such as DynamoDB and OpenSearch.
- API Development: Experience designing and securing REST APIs.
- Authentication & Access Control: Knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, SSO integration, MFA concepts, RBAC, secure token/session handling, and audit logging.
- AWS Application Knowledge: Working knowledge of AWS application services such as API Gateway, Lambda, RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.
- DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker or container packaging, environment configuration, and release deployment.
- Security: Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure coding, SAST, dependency scanning, secret scanning, and vulnerability remediation.
