[PUB-WRP] Engineer/Executive/Senior Engineer, Performance Analysis, PDCS

[What the role is]

As a Senior/Executive Engineer/Engineer with Planning, Development & Corporate Services (PDCS) Division of Water Reclamation Plant (WRP) Department, you will be part of the team responsible for handling Used Water planning and corporate services matters for the department. Your job role will include, but not limited to the following:

[What you will be working on]

• Work on WRPs and NEWater Factories (NWFs) planning and policy matters, including long term sludge projection, Trade Effluent fee review, and assessing the impacts of any new policy or initiative on the operation of WRPs and NWFs; 

• Carry out feasibility study for expansion projects which include developing the scope of the study and seeking approval for project funding;  

• Review external agencies’ consultations on development works that affects WRPs and work with plants to ensure that WRPs and effluent outfall pipes are well safeguarded; 

• Work with Policy and Legal departments to review amendments to Legislation such as the Sewerage and Drainage Act; 

• Assist on corporate matters for the department such as sustainability, KPI reporting and review. 

• Involve in sludge planning and procurement matters including preparation of calling tenders and administering contracts.

Requirements 

• Degree in Environmental/Chemical engineering or equivalent. Having knowledge or experience with used water treatment, NEWater production, procurement is an advantage. Fresh graduates are also welcomed to apply.  

• Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
