Description

- Install residential and commercial standby generator systems and related control systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical generator failures.
- Conduct routine maintenance, system testing, and oil/filter changes.
- Ensure all field installations comply with local safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate digital service records, work orders, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and professionally.
- 1–2 years of experience installing, servicing, or repairing standby generator systems.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and technical diagnostic skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry heavy equipment.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (indoors/outdoors), climb ladders, and navigate tight spaces.
- Generac Generator manufacturer certifications.
- EPA certifications or formal electrical wiring licensing.
