ABOUT US
At HUB International, we are a team of entrepreneurs. We believe in protecting and supporting the aspirations of individuals, families, and businesses. We help our clients evaluate their risks and develop solutions tailored to their needs. We believe in empowering our employees to learn, grow, and make a difference. Our structure enables our teams to maintain their own unique, regional culture while leveraging support and resources from our corporate centers of excellence.
HUB is a global insurance and employee benefits broker, providing a boundaryless array of business insurance, employee benefits, risk services, personal insurance, retirement, and private wealth management products and services. With over $5 billion in revenue and almost 20,000 employees in 600 offices throughout North America, HUB has grown substantially, in part due to our industry leading success in mergers and acquisitions
OVERVIEW
As a member of the Change Enablement team within the Technology & Operations Project Management Office (PMO), the Change Manager is a trusted partner who ensures technology and operational initiatives succeed by keeping the end-user experience at the center of every decision. You will assess change impact, design adoption strategies, and connect delivery teams with the people who will utilize the technology that is being implemented. At HUB, we pair Change Management methodology with a deep focus on the user experience, ensuring that every initiative lands with clarity, purpose, and measurable impact.
In this role, you will work across HUB's enterprise technology programs, lines of business, and operational teams to translate projects and initiatives into clear, compelling change journeys that drive measurable adoption and minimize disruption.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Change Readiness
- Create comprehensive change impact assessments that evaluate how initiatives affect roles, workflows, processes, and systems across HUB's diverse geography and business units
- Map stakeholder groups and design engagement strategies tailored to different audiences
- Partner with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Business Leaders to integrate change insights into delivery planning and risk mitigation
- Identify readiness gaps early and recommend interventions that keep projects on track
- Participate in multiple concurrent change initiatives across different business units, geographies, or functional areas
User-Centered Change Design
- Champion the voice of the end user by anticipating and understanding their needs
- Translate user sentiment into actionable improvements in messaging and support plans
- Design change journeys that tell a clear story about the "why" behind the change and create meaningful engagement opportunities at every stage
- Ensure change approaches reflect how HUB employees actually work, not how we assume they work
- Leverage change champions, Chief Operating Officers (COOs), and end users to deliver a user-centric approach to change management
Enablement & Adoption
- Develop communication and enablement plans in partnership with Project Management and stakeholders
- Determine the right channels and touchpoints for each stakeholder group
- Create and deliver content that informs, engages, activates, and supports employees through transitions
- Serve as a change champion for technology programs across the organization
- Monitor adoption metrics and participate in retrospectives to continuously refine change strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Participate actively and vocally in project meetings to stay aligned with delivery timelines, scope changes, and emerging risks and to provide updates to the team
- Identify and leverage specialized expertise from Technology Business Partners, Internal Communications, and/or other teams, as needed, to support adoption success
- Serve as the liaison between the Change Enablement team and delivery teams (e.g. Technology, Project Management, Service Management, Operations, etc.)
- Using an integrated planning approach, advise leaders on change risk, timing, and mitigation strategies based on impact assessments and user feedback, to help minimize change fatigue when possible
- Contribute to the evolution of HUB's change management methodologies, templates, and toolkits with a user-first lens
WHAT YOU BRING
Required
- 3-5 years of change management or organizational development experience in a large, matrixed organization supporting enterprise technology or digital transformation
- Proven ability to conduct change impact assessments and translate findings into strategic recommendations and executable change plans
- Experience gathering and applying user insights to influence project decisions and improve outcomes
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills—you know how to simplify complexity and make change feel relevant and achievable
- Experience presenting to all levels of the organization
- Familiarity with change frameworks such as Prosci ADKAR, Agile Change, or Design Thinking
- Collaborative mindset—you build trust across teams, thrive in ambiguity, and balance strategic thinking with practical execution
- Self-motivated and resourceful—you take ownership, anticipate needs, and don't wait to be told what to do
- Innovation mindset – you bring curiosity of how AI and innovation can support and provide efficiency to our roles
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects, balancing priorities, timelines, and deliverables
- Expertise in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint
Preferred
- General knowledge of insurance brokerage operations (commercial lines, personal lines, or employee benefits)
