Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements

Essential Capabilities

• Contract Management – ability to manage multiple and/or large-scale contracts simultaneously
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills Strategic mind set with a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics
• Strategic individual with exceptional stakeholder engagement, critical thinking, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage time critical tasks and deadlines
• Ability to partner with suppliers for mutual benefits beyond contracted value.

Experience

• 15-20 years of overall experience
• 10+ years of experience in AI, Software & SaaS, specifically security software and Tech Infrastructure & Networks
• Experience in Category Management, contract management experience & Supplier Relationship Management
• Experience managing high value and/or highly strategic enterprise suppliers

Qualification Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in relevant business discipline  is highly desirable

Key Accountabilities

• Manage and monitor all activities relating to supplier contracts across the business divisions responsible for, from execution of contract to disengagement
• Apply and trigger contractual clauses, when necessary, throughout the contract lifecycle
• Work with the Service Managers across division to ensure service performance and quality meet expectations
• Where there is consistent poor performance or breach, work between Suppliers, Business and Strategic Sourcing to recommend remediations and treatment plans
• Monitor and manage contract spend
• Implement continuous improvement 
• Work with the supplier to identify contract optimisation initiatives
• Work in a cross-functional manner across sourcing and supplier management teams
