The Insights & Analytics (I&A) team is responsible for delivery of portfolio, financial, commute and labor/talent analysis in support of both GOS service lines and GOS clients. The Financial Analyst’s responsibilities include cash flow and P&L financial modeling, ensuring outputs are aligned with international accounting standards, financial template validation and improvement, specific client requirements and direct client relationship management.Job Description
About the Role:
- Build and maintain complex cash flow and profit & loss financial models for client real estate portfolios, ensuring outputs are aligned with international reporting standards.
- Manage client-facing financial modeling engagements end to end – translating client requirements into model structure and assumptions, running scenario and sensitivity analysis, and presenting outputs directly to internal or external client stakeholders.
- Develop process & tool enhancements including implementation plans to drive efficiency and best-practice in financial modeling.
- Act as a quality-control point for financial models and outputs prepared by the wider team, validating that models are accurate, internally consistent and compliant.
- Liaise with the global I&A financial modeling community, including colleagues in Manila, Budapest and the US, to align on methodology, meet deadlines and share knowledge.
- Build and manage relationships with the account teams and client contacts, proactively managing expectations to ensure requirements are met and deliverables are error free.
- Direct reporting line into the APAC Insights & Analytics Lead.
About You:
- 3-5 years of experience in financial modeling / financial analysis, with hands-on cash flow (CF) and P&L modeling experience.
- Working knowledge of US-GAAP accounting principles as applied to financial modeling, IFRS16 is a plus.
- Demonstrated client management experience – comfortable presenting financial outputs directly to client stakeholders and managing relationships.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; strong PowerPoint skills for client-ready deliverables.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-control mindset when reviewing financial models.
- Experience handling commercial real estate data is a plus.
