The Power Quality (PQ) division at Eaton Electrical provides power management solutions including uninterruptable power supplies (UPS’s), surge protective devices, power distribution units (PDU’s), remote monitoring, software, power factor correction, airflow management, rack enclosures and services. We strive for continued success in leveraging technical innovation to develop next-generation solutions.
Due to growth, we are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage the software team to deliver EPMS customer projects and services to meet service requirements, business strategy, alignment and focus.
## Key Duties:
- Review project proposals or plan to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project
- Allocate and manage resources and confer with service, operations, engineering, sales & finance staff to outline project schedule and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
- Directly manage all project allocated resources and software team resources
- Actively manage coordination between factory, supply chain, project resources and customer
- Establish and manage the project plan, milestones, and deliverables in consultation with all stakeholders
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget including supply chain, warehouse, project manager, engineer, vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field service personnel
- Provide accurate project sales forecast / estimation, manage the project expenses (T&E, timesheet, product, purchase orders)
- Complete the project invoice and revenue generation including supporting document required for customer submission
- Ensure all the activities of the project team comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards
- Actively gather information on the customer and the customer's requirements to create additional business opportunities out of the ongoing project where possible
- Resolve conflicts and identify the root cause of disagreements, facilitating open communication, and guiding the team towards a mutually agreeable solution.
## Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience in the electrical industry dealing with UPS Systems, DC Systems, and/or low / medium voltage, Data Centre and technical product sales
- Graduate of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree, or any Engineering Degree with project management experience for projects in the electrical industry
- A minimum of five years of experience in the electrical industry dealing with UPS Systems, DC Systems, and/or low / medium voltage, Data Centre and technical product sales
- Formal Project Management qualification (PMP or Prince) or > 5yrs experience in project management preferred
