[What the role is]
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join the Ops Tech team and contribute to the transformation of parks and urban greenery operations as Singapore develops into a City in Nature.As Manager / Operations Technology, you will be involved in a range of operations technology initiatives, including providing support for the development of enabling infrastructure for the adoption of electric and autonomous equipment in parks. You will be required to work with relevant agencies and stakeholders to plan and establish power charging points. You may be required to travel to operational sites and work extended hours during critical project implementation phases.
[What you will be working on]
- Collaborate with parks operations teams, IT teams and other stakeholders to identify operational needs and implement technology solutions that improve productivity, service delivery and operational effectiveness.
- Work with technology vendors and service providers to scope, develop, implement, test and operationalise technology solutions, ensuring that they meet operational and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with relevant government agencies, internal stakeholders and industry partners to plan and facilitate the establishment of power charging infrastructure in parks to support electric equipment and other operations technologies.
- Manage proof-of-concept and pilot projects, including project scoping, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, testing, implementation and evaluation.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and opportunities for digitalisation, automation and mechanisation to support day-to-day parks and greenery management operations.
- Coordinate system integration and technology deployment activities while minimising disruption to ongoing operations.
- Conduct user testing, validation and operational trials, and work with users and vendors to address implementation issues and improve solutions.
- Develop technical and operational requirements, tender and contract specifications, and other procurement documentation for Ops Tech projects.
- Manage projects involving interdisciplinary teams, vendors, contractors and external agencies, including monitoring project timelines, deliverables, budgets and risks.
- Support user onboarding, change management and adoption of new technology solutions across operations teams.
- Track and evaluate the operational outcomes and productivity benefits of implemented technology solutions.
- Share and present Ops Tech initiatives and solutions to internal and external stakeholders through meetings, demonstrations, exhibitions, conferences, media engagements and other forums.
[What we are looking for]
- Experience in operations management, technology implementation, digital transformation, project management or related areas would be advantageous.
- Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in applying technology to solve operational challenges.
- Good organisational, collaborative and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Good writing and communication skills, including the ability to prepare project documentation, specifications and presentations.
- Comfortable presenting and engaging stakeholders at meetings, demonstrations and public-facing events.
