We’re looking for a Senior Graphic & Mixed Media Designer for a six-month run. Part-time, on-site, and hands-on from day one. You’ll work directly with our Sr. Creative Director on live campaigns, and you’ll see your work ship in days, not quarters. 

This is a temporary, part-time engagement of six months, structured as a mutual evaluation. We are building this team for the long term, and the most reliable way to assess fit is to work together. High performers will be considered for a full-time position in 2027. This engagement does not guarantee future employment. You’ll be part of our in-house creative team, reporting to the Sr. Creative Director. 

You’ll partner closely with our Social, eCommerce & Retention, Professional Marketing, and Performance teams, as well as our CMO on a regular basis. Marketing also serves Sales, Product, Engineering, Regulatory, and executive leadership, so your work gets seen and used across the company. 

Your work reaches two audiences: home users who want to feel better, and licensed professionals who demand clinical credibility. Making both feel right is the craft.

THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

Creative Design  

• Design high-impact creative for email, paid social (Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and more), organic social, web, and print 
• Concept and execute campaigns from first sketch to final file 
• Bring ideas, not just execution. Senior means pushing the work forward 
• Translate complex clinical science into visuals anyone can understand at a glance 

Packaging & Print 

• Design and update product packaging, labels, inserts, and print collateral from concept through production 
• Build dielines, mechanicals, and press-ready files to vendor specifications, including bleeds, color profiles, and proofing 
• Coordinate with packaging and print vendors through proofs and final delivery 
• Work with Regulatory and Product so labeling and packaging copy stays accurate and compliant for an FDA-regulated medical device 

Motion & Video 

• Create motion graphics and short-form video built for social-first viewing 
• Edit and finish content shot in-house and by creators 
• Test hooks, formats, and visual approaches to find what wins 

Systems & Craft 

• Bring ideas. Not just execution. 
• Build reusable templates and design systems so the team moves faster without losing quality 
• Adapt creative for DTC, professional, and international distributor audiences 
• Work within FDA-regulated claims guidelines, and know when to ask 
• Use AI tools to speed up the work, with your own taste in charge

Requirements

PLATFORMS & TOOLS 

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Figma, Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, TikTok, and Reddit ad platforms, and modern AI creative tools. 

THE QUALIFIERS 

Required 

• 6+ years of professional design experience, in-house or agency 
• A portfolio that shows range across digital, motion, and brand, with work you owned from concept to delivery 
• Hands-on packaging and print production experience (dielines, bleeds, color profiles, vendor-ready files) 
• Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite, strong Figma skills 
• Experience designing for email and paid social 
• Hands-on motion graphics and video editing 
• Ability to work on-site in Tustin, 3 days per week 
• Strong organization and self-direction 

Preferred 

• Background in wellness, beauty, health tech, or DTC consumer brands 
• Experience with regulated products or medical devices 
• Experience building design systems and templates 
• Experience with Shopify or Klaviyo
