Description
Can you tell from the first ten comments whether a post is going to work? Do you have opinions on which brands get social right, and which ones are trying too hard? Are you ready to turn that instinct into strategy? This might be your next role.
The opportunity
We’re continuing to grow our Stockholm team and are looking for a full-time Junior Social Media Strategist, ideally starting in January 2027.
What you'll do
You’ll help clients across entertainment, gaming, consumer, and corporate brands understand what their audiences are doing and saying on social, and turn that understanding into content and social strategy. You’ll work closely with our senior strategists and creatives, learning our strategic tools and methods along the way.
Main responsibilities
Run parts of the daily content pipeline, from content calendars to scheduling and publishing
Follow trends, formats, creators, and the conversations around our clients, and flag what matters
Support community management and reactive comms: spot emerging conversations early, and help with responses
Pull and report social analytics, and explain what moved the numbers
Build research, ideas, and slides for client presentations
What we're looking for
You have relevant school experience or prior internships in social or content at an agency, a media company, or in-house, or run channels for an organization or a project of your own. What matters most is that you live on social, have opinions on what works and what doesn’t, and are curious about audience behavior beyond your own feed.
Qualifications
Relevant school experience or prior internships in social media, content, community management, or copywriting, at an agency, a media company, or in-house
Examples of content, copy, or reporting you’ve worked on
Native fluency in the major social platforms and their formats
Strong short-form writing, plus basic social analytics
Experience with publishing or listening tools is a plus, as is experience with gaming or entertainment brands
Fluent in English; additional languages (including Swedish) are a plus
Eligibility to work in Sweden
Who we are and what we offer
Kurppa Hosk is a brand and communication agency with 200+ people in Stockholm, Oslo, New York and Chicago. We work with brave organizations, from early-stage start-ups to Zalando, Scania, Nike, Meta and Minecraft. We’re also a founding member of Eidra, a collective of specialist companies, so you’ll have management consultants, digital experts and product innovators down the hall.
You’ll get a personal coach, peer feedback on every project and courses in areas like AI and strategy. Benefits include 30 days’ vacation, a wellness allowance, private health insurance, an occupational pension, and a phone and laptop. You’ll work from our award-winning office at Grev Tureplan.
How to apply
Send us your resume and a short letter introducing your background. In it, cover two things:
Pick a brand whose social content you think is particularly engaging and innovative. What makes it work, and what would you do next if you ran its channels?
Something you’ve noticed recently that you haven’t been able to stop thinking about, whether it’s a brand on social, a cultural shift, or something you overheard. What caught your attention, and what do you think is really going on underneath it?
Keep the letter to one A4 page at most. We’re reading for how you think, not necessarily how you write, so give us your own thinking, in your own voice. We’d much rather read something genuinely yours than something perfectly polished by AI.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until November 6, 2026.
