About the Role

Bubble is seeking a Senior Digital Designer to join our Creative team and help shape how the brand shows up across the digital ecosystem.

This is a hands-on role responsible for translating Bubble’s brand vision into compelling, high-performing experiences across our DTC website, email, paid media, social, motion, and retail partnerships. You’ll combine strong graphic design, digital, and motion expertise with marketing and business acumen to create work that is both brand-building and conversion-focused.

Reporting to the Digital Design Director and Executive Creative Director, you’ll collaborate closely with Creative, Marketing, Product, E-commerce, Commercial, UX, Development, and Analytics teams to bring product launches, campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and always-on content to life.

You’ll also help evolve Bubble’s visual language, maintain a high bar for creative quality, and guide junior designers as part of a collaborative, fast-moving team.

The ideal candidate brings strong creative instincts, exceptional attention to detail, and a deep understanding of how great design can drive both cultural relevance and business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate Bubble’s clinical, derm-focused, yet playful brand identity into compelling, high-impact digital experiences across website, email, paid media, social, motion, and retail channels.
• Develop and execute digital design concepts from initial idea through final production, ensuring work meets both creative and functional objectives.
• Maintain exceptional quality, consistency, and technical standards across all digital touchpoints, in alignment with seasonal, campaign, and commercial priorities.
• Design for both brand storytelling and performance, balancing editorial vision with conversion-focused thinking.
• Partner with E-commerce, Marketing, Product, UX, Development, Commercial, and Analytics teams to ensure cohesive execution across platforms.
• Use performance data, customer insights, and digital analytics to inform and continuously improve design decisions, engagement, and conversion.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively while maintaining a high level of craft and meeting deadlines.
• Stay current on digital design trends, emerging technologies, AI tools, and evolving best practices to identify new opportunities for the brand.
• Contribute new ideas and creative approaches that solve business problems, elevate Bubble’s visual storytelling, and create opportunities for cultural impact and audience engagement.
• Help evolve and strengthen Bubble’s visual identity across digital channels while maintaining a unified brand language.
• Collaborate closely with designers, art directors, writers, and cross-functional partners; actively seek and incorporate feedback from stakeholders across the organization.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, providing thoughtful feedback and helping foster a collaborative, kind, and creatively ambitious team environment.
• Anticipate the needs, questions, and concerns of our customers and create thoughtful, inclusive work that respects and resonates with Bubble’s audience.
• Bring curiosity, initiative, and imagination to an evolving environment where ambiguity is often part of the process.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in graphic, digital, and motion design.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated digital design work for modern, consumer-facing brands.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Strong After Effects and motion graphics skills; experience with video editing software is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience incorporating AI-powered tools into digital design workflows, with a willingness to explore and adopt emerging AI technologies to enhance creativity, efficiency, and design outcomes.
• Exceptional visual taste, attention to detail, and typography skills.
• Strong understanding of how to balance brand expression and storytelling with performance and conversion goals.
• Familiarity with digital performance metrics and experience using data and insights to inform creative decisions.
• Deep understanding of UX/UI principles, modern e-commerce ecosystems, and digital design trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both in-person and through digital tools.
• Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume, dynamic environment where priorities can shift.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for pushing creative and brand innovation.
• Prior experience in beauty, lifestyle, or wellness is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience designing for mass or specialty beauty retailers such as Sephora, Ulta, Target, Walmart, Amazon, or similar retailers.
• Experience working across global retail or international digital channels.
