Senior Digital Designer

OVERVIEW

At ALO, digital is one of the most important expressions of our brand. As a Senior Digital Designer, you’ll help shape how ALO comes to life across our digital ecosystem, creating elevated, intuitive, and high-performing experiences that balance brand storytelling with functionality. This role is for a strong digital thinker and designer who can translate creative direction into thoughtful, polished experiences across site, landing pages, campaigns, and other digital touchpoints. You’ll collaborate across creative and cross-functional teams to bring ideas from concept through launch while maintaining a consistent, premium brand experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Design elevated digital experiences across ALO’s website, landing pages, launches, campaigns, and key brand moments.
• Translate brand and campaign creative into thoughtful, mobile-first digital experiences.
• Develop concepts and layouts that balance storytelling, usability, hierarchy, and performance.
• Own projects from initial concept through final production, QA, and launch.
• Adapt creative thoughtfully across desktop and mobile, considering the needs of each experience rather than simply resizing layouts.
• Build and evolve scalable templates and systems that improve consistency and efficiency across digital.
• Partner cross-functionally to understand business needs and translate them into strong creative solutions.
• Present work clearly, articulate design rationale, and incorporate feedback while maintaining a strong creative point of view.
• Maintain a high level of craft and attention to detail across typography, imagery, spacing, interaction, and responsive behavior.
• Support and mentor more junior designers through feedback, collaboration, and strong creative example.
• Stay current on digital design, luxury, fashion, wellness, culture, and emerging digital experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5–7+ years of experience in digital, brand, e-commerce, or interactive design, ideally within fashion, luxury, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated digital design, responsive experiences, and exceptional typography and layout.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Experience designing for e-commerce and working within established brand systems.
• Ability to move fluidly between conceptual thinking and detailed execution.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate creative decisions.
• Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, proactive, curious, and comfortable working across disciplines.
• Working knowledge of UX/UI principles and development considerations.
• Experience within premium or luxury e-commerce.
• Experience building scalable component libraries or digital design systems.
• Familiarity with accessibility and digital design best practices.
• Motion, prototyping, or interactive design capabilities.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
