Description
Trébol · Remote (LatAm) · Full-time · Reports to Fabian Torres, CEO
About Trébol
Trébol is an artificial intelligence software company that helps banks, financial institutions, and fintechs automate complex document workflows. From business onboarding (KYB) to mortgage underwriting, our platform handles diverse and critical financial processes. Our clients include unicorns, large banks, and leading financial institutions. Trébol’s ultimate goal is to build a world where businesses and clients can effortsly access any financial service and say, “wow, that was so easy.”
We are a company that focuses on a growth mindset, a culture of experimentation, and, above all, action. We make quick decisions, execute them, measure how we did, and adjust our direction based on data. That’s how we operate. We are backed by top global investors including Y Combinator, Better Tomorrow Ventures, and Canaan Partners.
Why we started Trébol
Before Trébol, Fabian was director of product at a fintech backed by SoftBank. To grow, the company needed one API to validate, extract and check its clients' documents against official sources. Building it in-house would take years, and the vendors he evaluated covered only part of it and none passed the security review. We started Trébol when we saw the whole market had the same problem.
The role
This isn't a standard marketing role. We sell to banks and fintechs, where sales cycles are long and each account has several decision-makers. You won't run mass campaigns or chase lead volume. You'll do enterprise and account-based marketing: research, executive events and content built for specific people at our target accounts. You'll work directly with the founders and the commercial team.
What you'll do
- Produce research reports for banks and fintechs on back-office operations, compliance, engineering, product, and implementing and managing AI. This covers the question, data gathering, analysis, writing, design and distribution.
- Turn each report into derived pieces: articles, a short executive summary, LinkedIn posts for the founders, and slides the sales team can present.
- Manage the content calendar: what we publish, when, on which channel, and who owns each piece.
- Organize our events, including executive roundtables and private dinners around our research, and represent Trébol at industry events.
- Get our research to named people at target accounts through LinkedIn, direct outreach and introductions, together with the commercial team.
- Run a set of experiments to generate and nurture leads. Define each hypothesis, run the test, measure the results, and keep what works.
- On the sales side, you'll mostly work on RFPs: gathering answers from the team, writing responses and meeting deadlines. When needed, you'll also run discovery calls and demos with the commercial team.
- Write case studies and one-pagers about how our clients use Trébol.
This is a long list, and we don't expect one person to cover all of it from day one. We're looking for someone who learns fast, works efficiently and knows what to do first.
In the end, your job comes down to two things:
- Generate high-quality leads.
- Help those leads move faster through the funnel.
Your first 90 days
- First 30 days: learn how our clients use Trébol, our target accounts and our sales process. Join sales calls and choose the first research question with the founders.
- By day 60: run the data gathering for the first research report, own the content calendar, and deliver your first RFP response with the team.
- By day 90: have the first report in draft, the guest list for the first executive event confirmed, and the first case study published.
What we're looking for
- 2 to 5 years in B2B marketing, consulting, research or B2B sales.
- Experience at a bank or fintech, or selling to one.
- You write specifically and precisely, in Spanish and English, for readers who are experts in their field. You'd rather publish one strong piece than five generic ones.
- You use AI workflows in your daily work to research, draft and analyze faster, and you check the output before it goes out.
- You want to become an expert in what our clients care about: compliance, regulation, operations and AI in banking. You enjoy going deep on it.
- You've produced something end to end with no team: a report, an event or a publication.
Nice to have
- Consulting or research-firm experience.
- A network in the fintech ecosystem in Colombia and Mexico.
- Experience with AI tools, beyond a chatting with it.
