Designed to support early career growth across the operations of our business groups, this program offers you the chance to work in a variety of engineering, manufacturing, and business roles while developing core professional capabilities.
Structure of Program:
This is a two-year program that involves three assignments in an Eaton facility that each last 8 months. This position will be based in Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. To maximize your development, each assignment has the potential to have you placed in three different facilities in Canada during the length of your program. Your assignments will give you multiple opportunities to build practical experience, strengthen business knowledge, and contribute as part of Eaton’s early career talent pool. You will also interact with and present to Eaton leaders during your assignments.
After completion of the program, your experience and newly acquired skills could support a variety of career paths, such as operations, operational excellence, quality, project management, front line supervision, marketing, sales or engineering. The program is designed to help participants build a strong foundation, gain exposure across the business, and be considered for roles that align with their skills, interests, and business needs.
The Early Career Development Program position starts in July 2027.
## Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements):
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Power Systems, Operations, and/or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited institution, with a graduation date before July 2027.
- Minimum of one internship or co-op experience or relevant prior work experience.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada on a permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 120km of Burlington, ON, Milton, ON, Mississauga, ON, or Toronto, ON to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering with a minor in business.
- 2-3 prior internship or co-op experiences in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and / or community.
- Ability to speak a second language (French preferred).

The expected annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
