Position Overview
Intellect Solutions is seeking a motivated Junior AI Engineer to join our growing technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who is passionate about Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and emerging technologies.
The Junior AI Engineer will work with senior technical team members to design, develop, test, and implement AI-enabled solutions supporting internal initiatives and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and testing AI and Generative AI applications.
- Develop applications and automation solutions using Python.
- Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and APIs from platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS, and other AI technologies.
- Support development of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using enterprise documents and data.
- Assist with prompt engineering, model evaluation, testing, and optimization.
- Integrate AI capabilities with existing applications, databases, APIs, and business workflows.
- Work with structured and unstructured data for AI/ML applications.
- Support development of AI agents, chatbots, intelligent search, and workflow automation solutions.
- Document technical designs, configurations, testing results, and lessons learned.
- Research emerging AI technologies and help develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions.
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, data engineers, and business teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of professional experience; strong recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Basic understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and LLM concepts.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, Git, and basic software-development practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn new AI technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or academic/project exposure to one or more of the following is preferred:
- OpenAI / Azure OpenAI
- AWS AI/ML services
- LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
- RAG and vector databases
- Prompt engineering
- AI agents and agentic workflows
- SQL and data processing
- Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- GitHub and CI/CD concepts
- AI/ML projects, internships, coursework, or personal projects
