Position Summary/Purpose:
The purpose of the Student worker counselor position is to support the growth, efforts, and goals of the Campus Initiative team (CI) team.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Keep a clean CRM database
- Calling prospective students and alumni
- Communicate with students via outlook and texting system
- Transferring prospective students to university counselors
- Staying organized via excel and outlook
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
Equipment will be provided in the form of a computer and headset for soft phone.
Qualifications:
- Experience calling inquiring students
- Experience with CRM database systems
- Ability to stay organized via outlook and CRM
- Ability to build rapport with students inquiring
- Coachability and adaptability
Experience/Education:
Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.·
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.·
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
