This role has a strong focus on technical execution and real-time problem-solving, independently troubleshooting issues to ensure high-quality learner and speaker experiences. In addition to technical and operational support, the role provides event logistics and customer service, assists with student worker coordination and campus partnerships, and supports key post-event functions such as processing certifications and transcripts. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and technically confident, with the ability to independently assess and resolve problems, anticipate potential issues, and maintain a high level of service throughout the event.

Occasional weekend availability is required, with coverage needs of up to two weekends per month. Actual weekend hours will vary based on program schedules and staff coverage and may be limited to only a few hours on a given weekend.

Work Location: Bloomington, MN with flexibility to work 1-2 days per week remotely; must live local and be able to come to campus as needed.

Duties:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact across systems for learners, instructors, and partners for registration, CE credits, program details, and general support, providing high-quality customer service.
  • Resolve customer questions, concerns, and issues, utilizing independent problem solving and resources provided.
  • Provide real-time support during events, including registration tables, attendance tracking and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Assist with planning and event logistics including scheduling, room reservations, space coordination, and coordination with other departments.
  • Maintain accurate program listings and event setup within systems.
  • Assist with internal event request processes, forms, and workflow tracking.
  • Support enrollment workflows, data entry, and basic reporting across systems.
  • Assist with credentialing-related tasks such as documentation, board applications, and course renewals as assigned.
  • Participate in shared team coverage for evening, weekend, and high-volume events. Flexibility in scheduling is provided to accommodate these responsibilities while maintaining a 40-hour work week.

What you need to have?

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred (e.g., Communications, Hospitality or Event Management, Business Administration, or Education).
  • 1–3 years experience in areas such as customer service, event coordination, higher education support, or administrative operations.
  • Experience supporting virtual and/or in-person programs, including event coordination, participant communications, registration processes, or learning platforms.
  • Familiarity with CRM, learning management, or event management systems (e.g., Enrole, Academy of Mine), preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, platforms, and processes.
  • Ability to support learners with registration, payment inquiries, and basic technical troubleshooting.
