Core Responsibilities
Developer efficiency is increasingly a priority for us, and we are looking to invest in providing the best Developer Experience for all our engineers - now with AI as a priority.
We are leading the journey to becoming cloud-first, API-first (&awesome-first) by providing advocacy and thought leadership within our engineering communities.
- Contribute to the Reimagining and innovation of our internal developer processes and workflows with AI, improving efficiency and creativity for our engineers.
- Invent, develop and maintain features for our internal developer portal in collaboration with the rest of the team.
- Collaborate with the team and partners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Digital transformation is a key priority for the LEGO Group, and we believe that empowering developers with the right processes and tools is crucial for success in an AI-first world. The team is centrally placed to provide foundational services for all the group and supports hundreds of teams today.
The team provides a developer platform called Baseplate, that enables engineers to be successful in cloud and our DevSecOps journey as well as provide guidance and guardrails for how we build the next generation of digital LEGO services in Cloud.
The team is sitting in our temporary LEGO® Hub in Copenhagen, soon moving to our official Hub at “Postbyen”, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment – and a little fun play as well!
Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for a preferred candidate that holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experience. Experience with AI Augmented Software Development (spec-driven development, context engineering, etc.). Knowledge with Cloud native development (Azure, AWS or GCP).
Hopefully your technology toolbox contains experience with one or more general purpose programming languages like C#, Java, Python, Golang, and one or more CI/CD tool like GitHub, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
Experience in agile methodologies is expected.
To succeed in this role, you preferably have competence within the following:
- Experience with React.
- Active participation in developer communities, open-source contributions, or personal coding projects.
- Dare to speak up and learn from the failures.
- Thrive with both experimentations and the long haul.
- Confirmed problem-solving skills.
Advanced English both written and verbally are needed since we are an international gathered team.
