Apollo Technical is hiring a Assistant Project Manager (Civil Engineering) for Allen TX
Ready to step out of pure production and into project leadership?
We’re looking for a driven Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to help us design and deliver major residential subdivision projects across North Texas.
If you have sharp Civil 3D skills, know the local municipal permitting landscape, and want a clear, defined pathway to a full Project Manager role, this position was built for you. You will bridge the gap between technical design and project leadership, learning the business side of engineering from seasoned pros.
The Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will split your time between high-level design oversight and project management training.

Design & Quality Control: Lead and support the production of grading, drainage, utility, paving, and erosion control plans using Civil 3D.

Team Mentorship: Review design work prepared by junior engineering staff and provide constructive guidance and feedback.

Agency Coordination: Navigate permitting and approvals with North Texas municipalities and reviewing agencies.

Project Management Support: Assist PMs with project scheduling, budgeting, client communication, and delivery from preliminary design through final construction.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate project submittals and interface with utility providers, surveyors, architects, and clients.
What We Are Looking For

Experience: 4+ years of civil engineering experience, with a heavy focus on land development and site design.

Technical Skills: High proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (corridors, pipe networks, and grading are second nature to you).

Credentials: EIT certification is required; an active Texas PE license is highly preferred.

Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with residential subdivision design and the North Texas regulatory environment.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a readiness to actively collaborate with clients and city officials.
