Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The SCIS - Supply Chain Analyst is part of a Global Supply Chain Integration Center of Excellence, more specifically a team providing consulting and support services to European, North American and Asia-Pacific markets. The Center of Excellence is formed of experts in Supply Chain, Customer Experience solutions and BI (Business Intelligence) software platforms.
The SCIS - Supply Chain Analyst works in close collaboration with SCIS COE as well as MB Canada’s Supply Chain organizations. The Supply Chain Analyst will support the development and training of technological solutions to meet the Canadian business objects. This includes analyzing specific and complex business problems to be solved with development or new applications. Embedded within the Supply Chain Team, the analyst will assist in the identification and implementation of processes and procedures within SCIS applications that are cost-effective and meet user requirements.
This role is a 12-month contract.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Process and Performance improvement
- Suggest and lead process improvement initiatives addressing gaps across all three pillars: business processes, people knowledge and system enhancements
- Promote adoption of existing and new system features to rationalize and improve market performance
- Support the market in their KPIs review and the development and execution of the improvement / action plans
Customer/ Stakeholder management
- Creates positive relationships with stakeholders through the appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives
- Ensure proper socialization and understanding of system initiatives
- Support Change Management, ensure appropriate plan are in place to drive changes efficiently
- Work with stakeholders to ensure initiatives are prioritized and aligned with the market Supply Chain’s goals and objectives
- Preparation and facilitation of bi-weekly system meetings
Operational support:
- Operational support of the SCIS solutions for MB Canada teams
- Management of Service Now tickets in collaboration with SCIS support and technical teams.
- On-Call support for P1/P2 incidents
- Organization and facilitation of regular meetings with Supply Chain teams to review/monitor their requests, update of associated tools and documents
- Training, coaching and mentoring of planners/users. Development of training materials and solution description documentation in accordance with templates
Solution governance
- Help the business implement technology solutions, including managing the requirements of a project or program and communicating progress clearly to all stakeholders’ levels
- Management of CR/solution improvements (requirements, analysis, benefits, specification and documentation)
- Management of User Acceptance Testing (preparation, documentation, facilitation and sign-off process)
- Implementation / roll-out phases of system initiatives
- Training and documentation of training materials for all solution changes
- Socialization /training of Supply Chain best-practices across MB CA Supply Chain teams
- Apply project management and solution governance methodology standards
- Manage dependencies with other local and global initiatives
- Carry out risk assessments, including reporting issues, delays, risks to the CA business and to SCIS direct management and SCIS governance board
- Ensure the operations follow all Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR), Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and Good Warehouse Practices (GWP)/Good Drivers Practices (GDP) for transport rules and regulations
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of related experience
- Experience working with supply chain or enterprise systems (e.g., planning systems, ERP, CRM, or similar platforms supporting supply chain operations)
- Strong working knowledge of supply chain processes (e.g., demand planning, replenishment, inventory management, order management, or logistics)
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, analyze complex data sets, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions
- Experience managing change control, testing (UAT), and production support activitie
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate risks, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills with all levels of employees, management and customer
- Ability to travel to regional destinations (US & Canada)
- This position must pass a post-offer background check
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in process mapping and use of process mapping tools (Visio)
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or other Salesforce applications
- Experience with Blue Yonder Supply Chain Planning solutions
- Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or other reporting solution
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Critical Path Method (CPM) or PRINCE2)
