Job Summary:
Working Lead position that provides direction and leadership for the Order Fulfillment Department. Ensures team members are trained and are following set procedures for specific tasks. Properly distributes workforce to increase productivity, quality and meet specific deadlines. Ensure that all additional tasks or priorities assigned on a day to day “as needed” basis are completed in accordance with direction given.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Responsible for training team members and ensures company policies and work instructions are being properly followed.
- Provide team members with the necessary tools and information to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Communicate to team members daily goals and cover any specific instructions and/or information given by management.
- Properly distribute and/or redistribute workforce to maintain required levels of productivity and quality.
- Communicates with other leads, supervisors and/or managers to share resources as needed to ensure the shift’s success.
- Advise management of problems that may adversely affect the timely completion of tasks.
- Timely communicate and follow-up with various departments using Microsoft Outlook/email.
- Ensure that all additional tasks and/or priorities assigned on a day to day “as needed” basis are completed in accordance with direction given.
- Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001 and 14001, understand and fully support ISO system.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Understand and follow all company rules and regulations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required.

Look for improvements continuously, and go the extra mile to present a complete and polished finished product. Monitor quality levels, find root cause of quality problems, own/act on quality problems.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year previous warehouse supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Effect oral and written communication skills; must be able to read, write and understand English.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Experience in MS Office, PKMS, Oracle and Business Objects a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
Location:
Plainfield, Indiana
Schedule:
6:00 to 2:30pm Monday through Friday (Occasional overtime required)
