Guest Services Representative, Edward Hospital

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Guest Services Representative
• Location: Edward Hospital (Naperville, IL)
• Full Time/Part Time: Part-time (24 hours per week)
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:30am-8:00pm. Rotating weekends and holidays

What you will do:

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, ­­serves as patient liaison in a positive, friendly, and responsive manner to all internal and external customers.
• Demonstrates warmth, caring and sensitivity toward all people in and entering the hospital location by practicing responsible communication and offering assistance to customers.
• Provides accurate information, directions and intervention methods to meet customers' health care needs and make their experience a positive one

What you will need:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED within six months of start date into position
• Certification: n/a
• Experience: Minimum one year of previous experience in a service position in an industry such as hotel, travel, or healthcare
• Unique or Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel & Epic
  • Possesses excellent customer service/public relations skills
  • Ability to assist patients in and out of vehicles and to push them in a wheelchair
