Overview
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Business Analyst-SCM will be responsible for analyzing and improving the supply chain processes . This position will work closely with the supply chain team, as well as other functional teams, to identify areas for improvement, develop solutions, and implement changes. The Business Analyst, Supply Chain will also be responsible for creating and presenting reports to management on the performance of the supply chain.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Analyzing business needs & requirements and facilitating implementation of solutions including enhancements to existing applications and sourcing vendor solutions to meet business requirements.
- Conduct analysis of supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to improve the supply chain
- Work with IT teams to design, test, and implement technology solutions to improve supply chain processes
- Develop and maintain supply chain performance metrics and reporting tools
- Communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and best practices to continuously improve supply chain processes
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is predominantly an individual contributor role.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Technology/ Business Administration,
- Requires 10% travel
Essential Technical Skills:
- Operations Management / Supply Chain Management ; Process Improvement/ Six Sigma Certification(Green/ Yellow Belt).
Essential Soft Skills:
- Analytical Thinking, Critical Problem Solving, Effective Communication, Collaboration, Stakeholder management.
Experience:
- 5+ Yrs of relevant experience as Business Analyst in Supply Chain domain.
