Summary:
As a Cloud Operations Administrator, a typical day involves collaborating closely with the Service Delivery Manager to oversee capacity management, ensuring that cloud resources are efficiently allocated and utilized. The role includes managing billing and show back operations to maintain transparency and accuracy in cost tracking. Additionally, the position requires actively engaging in cost optimization efforts across various cloud environments, balancing performance needs with budget considerations. This role demands continuous monitoring and coordination to support seamless cloud operations and contribute to the overall effectiveness of cloud infrastructure management.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of cloud operations with organizational goals.
- Monitor cloud resource utilization and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating knowledge sharing.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration.
- Experience with Linux system monitoring and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues in a multi-cloud environment.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for system administration tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
