Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing production of accurate net asset values (NAVs) for the team’s entire fund range. Effective controls and processes must be implemented & managed in order to maintain accurate records within the Funds business. Business risk to be identified managed and mitigated. All audit and regulatory requirements must be clearly satisfied and key service level agreements (SLAs) met. This is evidenced through efficiently managed production & dispatch of fund pricing. Responsible for updating and evolving processes and procedures to minimize production risk. Support the manager in managing the daily operation and provide support to team members through training and mentoring to foster development.
What will you do?
- Manage and ensure consistency & accuracy of the teams delivery on a daily basis
- Review, daily, weekly, semi-monthly or monthly fund valuations prepared by Fund Accountants & Senior Fund Accountants
- Ensure consistency & accuracy of the team delivery on a daily basis.
- Meeting deadlines as per Service Level Agreements
- Act as first line escalation point within the daily production environment and to escalate to management where required
- Ensure reconciliations (cash, security and unit-holder) are complete and outstanding items are investigated & cleared in a timely manner
- Review fund distribution preparation
- Backup for team as required: Fund accountant, Senior Fund Accountant and/or Team Lead.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- At least 1 year fund accounting knowledge with progressive record.
- Expert in fund distributions
- Advanced excel skills and able to build templates and scripts (basic)
- Take ownership and responsibility to complete tasks and assignments with minimal guidance
- Lead with example and take initiatives without waiting for manager’s instructions
- Problem solving and good communicational skills
Nice-to-have
- Bachelor’s degree and completed or working towards CFA, CPA designation
- Completed CSC course
- Project management experience

Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$46,000.00 - $70,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location.
