The Position

The Senior T&E Compliance Analyst performs detailed reviews of Travel & Expense ("T&E") claims across APAC affiliates in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The role is designed to maintain robust, sustainable adherence to organizational policies, relevant local and external regulatory frameworks, and established operating procedures, thereby mitigating organizational compliance risks. Primary daily operational responsibilities focus on driving the efficient execution of T&E claims processing. In this role, you will serve as an extension of the regional lead, ensuring your priorities align closely with the overall team vision and strategic direction. While working independently, you maintain continuous collaboration to ensure that operational execution directly advances the core goals and objectives of T&E compliance. Senior T&E Compliance Analyst has a strong understanding of the T&E claim processes, audit and assurance and their main responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

You will be :

• Operational: Review the employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner, against the affiliate’s policies and External regulatory requirements. Guide and mentor team members by leading through influence, empathy, and active collaboration. Maintain awareness of affiliate priorities and strategies by sharing updates and findings through formal and informal written channels (such as emails, newsletters, executive reports, and task lists).
• Close collaboration with T&E helpdesk in ticket issue resolution and user’s escalation. Perform the monthly Compliance Quality Assessment - sample selection; execute the testing; document the observations; suggest remediation/preventive action plans.
  
• Stakeholder management : Maintain a business partnering relationship with affiliates with design thinking  enhance service satisfaction and work with collaborators at all levels. Escalate issues and recommend resolution plans in a timely manner to the regional lead and Affiliate (where required)  

• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaboration with other functions (not limited to T&E) within Roche where required to support the effectiveness and efficiency of End-to-End processes, initiatives that meeting the Business Partners' needs, and participation in the Compliance Program.

• Continuous Improvement : Partner with and mentor the team members during routine operations to detect potential enhancements on the operational process . Propose actionable improvement ideas contributing to process efficiency.
  
• Participate in related projects and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Line Manager/Global Lead 

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Relevant professional experience in finance or compliance roles, with demonstrated proficiency in SAP Concur
• Strong analytical capabilities and a robust compliance orientation. Demonstrated ownership and accountability in executing assigned responsibilities
• High Interpersonal & Operational Maturity . Advanced stakeholder management expertise. Full professional fluency in both Mandarin (required) and English
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills : Exhibit  problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-focused mindset when navigating ambiguous situations or high-pressure environments. Ability to be a self-starter,  work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Communicate proactively, providing transparent updates and flagging risks early without requiring prompting or follow-ups.
