Operations Finance teams use analytics, modeling and data tracking to shape business decisions. KLA is a world-leading technology company with a global presence and a commitment to innovation and operational excellence. Our Shared Service Centre (SSC) in Newport currently provides transactional finance services to 10 European entities and is on an exciting journey to expand its global scope, transitioning towards a Global Business Services (GBS) model over the next four to five years.
The opportunity
This 12-month fixed-term role will support the expansion of the SSC Europe. As a T&E Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate audit of travel and expense submissions, employee queries and as required support payment activities. You will join a 3-person T&E team that currently supports 11 European entities.
ROLE PURPOSE: Deliver accurate, policy-compliant T&E audit and payment support while providing a responsive service to employees and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Audit travel and expense submissions in line with KLA travel policy and established control requirements.
- Respond promptly and professionally to queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial transactions.
- Support payment runs in line with the monthly schedule for supported entities.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Ensure discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
- Maintain employee data in accordance with data protection procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to support smooth financial operations.
- Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities to build capability across the team.
- Undertake other duties that fall within the SSC T&E remit.
- Ability to travel to support New Expense System Deployment.
Skills and experience
- Experience of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Essential to have prior experience of using a travel and expense platform such as Chrome River, Concur or SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Clear and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using initiative to solve problems and support colleagues.
- A proactive approach to work and continuous improvement.
- A positive, customer-focused attitude.

Minimum Qualifications
Previous experience in a transactional finance team is preferable
