What Will You Do as a Physical Therapist?

As a PT at Christ the King Manor, you'll evaluate and treat patients with a variety of functional and mobility needs while developing individualized plans designed around what matters most to each person.

Your role will include:

• Performing comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations
• Developing individualized plans of care and functional goals
• Addressing strength, balance, gait, transfers, endurance and mobility
• Providing therapeutic exercise and functional mobility training
• Working on fall prevention and safety
• Assessing and recommending appropriate assistive devices
• Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
• Supervising and collaborating with Physical Therapist Assistants
• Educating patients, families and caregivers
• Working closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current or eligible Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with PTAs and the interdisciplinary care team
• Skilled nursing, geriatric or rehabilitation experience is a plus, but not required
• A patient-first approach to therapy
