Job Description
Motorola Solutions offers a comprehensive, 12-week full-time paid internship program designed to offer hands-on experience with real problems that need real solutions. You will work collaboratively alongside the company’s senior strategy team members supporting strategic planning, market insights, quantitative analysis, and financial modeling activities.
The Corportate Strategy Intern will be responsible but not limited to the following:
Corporate Strategy Intern Responsibilities
Support the strategic planning process – i.e., analyze industry trends, the competitive landscape, organic/inorganic growth opportunities, etc.
Create statistical models to identify key trends/patterns in external and internal data, forecast business performance, simulate the impact of potential strategic options/decisions
Conduct research and benchmark industry best practices
Collaborate with other members of the strategy team on individual and group projects
Collaborate with interns and staff from other departments such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product Management, and the Chief Technology Office
Preferred Qualifications
Currently seeking a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related major
Ability to identify correlation and causation and draw insights among multiple factors
Demonstrated strategic thinking, analysis, and problem solving skills
Experience with statistical analysis and financial modeling
Ability to structure complex problems in simple, easy-to-understand ways
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams simultaneously
Comfort with fast-paced and rapidly evolving environments
High proficiency in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides
Basic Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a graduation date on or after December 2027
