Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced CNC Machinists for projects located in the Auburn, WA area. This is a third shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $36-39/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Operate CNC mills and lathes in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment
- Set up and run CNC machining equipment for production work
- Write, edit, and modify CNC programs as needed
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, programming, and dimensional issues
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications
- Inspect raw materials and verify material identification and requirements
- Perform in-process and final quality inspections using appropriate measuring equipment
- Work with horizontal and vertical machining centers
- Support multi-pallet and repeat-production machining operations
- Set and maintain tool offsets, work offsets, and machine parameters
- Utilize probing systems and G10 offsets where applicable
- Follow setup sheets, standardized tooling requirements, dedicated fixtures, and approved tool packages
- Identify opportunities to improve machining processes while maintaining quality and repeatability
- Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation
- Follow all company safety, quality, security, and controlled-work-environment requirements
Requirements
- Strong CNC machining background with experience operating mills and lathes
- Experience with horizontal and/or vertical machining centers
- Experience with multi-pallet or production machining is highly desirable
- Ability to write, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs
- Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills
- Ability to perform accurate dimensional inspections
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Previous aerospace manufacturing experience required
- Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems
- Familiarity with ITAR requirements and controlled work environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts
