DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Field Applications Scientist to join our Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry (CMD) division and provide technical support and training for our advanced analytical instrumentation. In this role, you will specialize in Trace Element Analysis products, specifically ICP and ICPMS. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct instrument demonstrations, workflow presentations, proof-of-concept studies, and sample evaluations at customer sites or Customer Experience Centers. • Collaborate with customers to develop, optimize, and validate ICP/ ICPMS methods for quantitative and qualitative analyses. • Troubleshoot complex application, workflow, and data analysis challenges, working closely with Service Engineers and Technical Support teams when required. • Partner closely with Sales Specialists and Account Managers throughout the sales cycle to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate ICP/ ICPMS solutions. • Provide scientific expertise during customer meetings, technical discussions, and proposal development to strengthen solution positioning and improve opportunity conversion. REQUIREMENTS How you will get here: • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Chemistry or equivalent • Technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in ICP/ ICPMS including sample preparation and associated workflows. Minimum 3 years or more work experience using ICP/ ICPMS. • Experience with quantitative ICP/ ICPMS workflows would be added advantage • Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities • Demonstrated success in technical activities i.e coordinating issue resolution, ensuring customer success and long-term account growth. • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills • Travel requirements of 25-50% within assigned territory • Proficiency in English required, additional languages valued
