Loader Operator - Underground Utility Crew

R.E. Beckner Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our Underground Utility Crew. This position will operate a front-end loader in support of underground utility installation and site development work.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a front-end loader on active construction sites
• Load, move, stockpile, and backfill materials
• Support underground utility crews installing water, sewer, and storm systems
• Work safely around trenches, excavators, pipe crews, trucks, and other equipment
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Assist with general crew duties when needed
• Follow company and job site safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a loader required
• Underground utility or site development experience strongly preferred
• Ability to safely operate around trenches and ground personnel
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather and on active construction sites
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Work locations: Offices based out of Pinellas and Citrus Counties with jobs located throughout the central west Florida region.
