Application Support Analyst (3-5 Years Experience)

Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of enterprise applications by providing
effective production support, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement.
Leverage Java, Angular, Kubernetes, and Generative AI technologies while adhering to
ITIL best practices.
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Application Support Analyst with 3-5 years of experience in
production and application support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java,
Angular, Kubernetes, ITIL processes, and Generative AI technologies to support business-
critical applications, troubleshoot production issues, drive operational excellence, and improve
service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and production issues following ITIL processes.
· Support and troubleshoot applications built using Java and Angular. · Monitor and support applications deployed on Kubernetes (K8s) environments.
· Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
· Support Change and Problem Management activities, releases, deployments, and environment maintenance.
· Troubleshoot APIs, microservices, databases, and containerized applications.
· Monitor application logs, health, performance, and availability using monitoring tools.
· Maintain knowledge articles, runbooks, and support documentation.
· Leverage Generative AI tools for supporting automation, incident analysis, and knowledge management.
· Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities. Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in Application/Production Support.
· Strong knowledge of Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management
· Hands-on experience with Java, Angular, and Kubernetes.
· Experience supporting microservices-based and containerized applications.
· Knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, and application troubleshooting.
· Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ITSM tools.
· Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Skills Technical Skills
