Warehouse Inventory & Quality Coordinator

Overview

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for a full-time Warehouse Inventory & Quality Coordinator! The Coordinator is responsible for inventory and quality control of all housewares products in the warehouse, including inlcuding linens, dishes, small appliances, and other household items.

 

Pay: $22-$26/ hour depending on experience. 

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00AM- 2:30PM with overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Stage product for packing• Size, fold, bag and wrap product• Package the product following the packaging procedures• Check accuracy of product to paperwork• Unpack returns and relocate product to proper areas for refurbishing and shipping• Clean and repair housewares packages as needed to ensure quality product• Load and unload laundry and dishwashing equipment• Notify supervisor of cleaning and packing supplies when needed• All duties regularly require but are not limited to heavy lifting (50 pounds)• Supervises/Leads a specific department of employees (2 – 10)• Monitors inventory/supply levels and reports back to Distribution/Ops Manager & Regional Housewares Manager• Monitors safety policy adherence within lead department• Ensures lead department area is free of clutter and stays organized• Ability to coordinate write-off sheets for department and/or multiple departments

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years related warehouse experience and/or training
• Ability to operate equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts; experience with electric pallet jack-certification preferred.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondance.
• Ability to lift 25-50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Previous experience in a warehouse, housekeeping, laundry, or with dishwashing preferred.
• Must pass drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
