About the role:As a Manager, Field Sales - Southern Africa, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and distributor engagement across the Southern Africa region as well as be a key member of the management team. Working closely with the Country Director, you will build strong relationships with distributors and sales leaders, provide strategic field insights, identify growth opportunities, and support the execution of initiatives that drive sales performance and recruitment. This role combines structured field engagement, strong business analytics, distributor support , event participation, and market development to help accelerate sustainable business growth.
In this role, you will:
- Partner closely with the Country Director to support the execution of the regional sales strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and sales leaders through regular field visits, virtual meetings, and participation in local and regional events.
- Analyze sales, recruitment, and distributor performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide field insights, recommendations, and market feedback to support business decision-making.
- Facilitate one-on-one and group meetings with distributors to support business planning, growth, and leadership development.
- Provide practical business guidance using available Herbalife tools, programs, promotions, and training resources to help distributors grow and sustain their businesses.
- Lead and collaborate with distributor committees to implement sales initiatives, training programs, and event content.
- Support the planning and execution of sales-focused events, promotions, and market engagement activities.
- Monitor market performance and prepare regular reports, including monthly business and field activity updates.
- Identify and share best practices across the market to drive sustainable and duplicable business growth.
- Act as a company ambassador at local, regional, and international events.
Our Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in sales, field operations, business development, Key account management or a related commercial environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and influence across multiple levels.
- Proven Adaptability in fast paced and evolving environments
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sales data, business metrics, and market trends.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities, evaluate business performance and recommend practical actions that drive sales and recruitment results.
- Experience managing projects, events, sales initiatives, or distributor/customer engagement activities.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Results-driven mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently & thrive through own initiatives & opportunities identification while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Flexible approach and willingness to travel regularly within the region and work occasional weekends when required.
- Previous experience working with distributor networks, direct selling organizations, or customer-facing sales environments is highly desirable.
- Flexible and solution-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is willing to contribute wherever needed to achieve business objectives.
