About the team:
The Data Quality team ensures data integrity across Walmart’s ecosystem through rigorous validations and business checks. Leveraging advanced machine learning and anomaly detection, the team identifies irregularities in real-time across data pipelines. Their certification and monitoring framework supports consistent data quality. Collaborating with stakeholders, the team drives process improvements and data governance initiatives to maintain high standards. This enables reliable, accurate data to support informed decision-making and business development, ensuring data is trustworthy and aligned with organizational goals.
What you'll do:
- Identify, collect, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business and operational needs.
- Perform data validation, profiling, and quality assessments to identify anomalies and data issues.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate key insights to stakeholders.
- Partner with business, product, and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support data quality monitoring efforts by investigating exceptions and assisting with remediation activities.
- Document business logic, data definitions, and analytical processes to improve data transparency and governance.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and scalability.
What you'll bring:
- Proficiency in data analytics and big data technologies, including Python for data analysis and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of business contexts across multiple domains such as finance, marketing, and technology.
- Experience in data quality management, including profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques.
- Ability to identify and source relevant data sets to support business cases and analytical models.
- Skilled in data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and exploratory data analysis to identify trends and correlations.
- Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support process improvements.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
