- Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM or banking access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity; verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures; and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
- Maintain readiness and responsible control of assigned equipment, including firearms and related gear, in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
