The Rotational Engineer is an entry level position for recent graduates with BSME degrees. You will go through a 12-to-18-month training period at HYDAC and will be put on a schedule that will rotate through all major functions within HYDAC. These functions will include Manufacturing, Engineering, QA, Product Management, and Purchasing.
You will make an impact in this role by:
- Tasks will be assigned for each functional area.
- Able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Able to read drawing information.
- Geometric dimensioning and tolerance is required. Familiar with computer-based systems operation.
- Knowledge of APQP, manufacturing and quality processes and capabilities.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Self-Starter and Motivator: Able to develop effective relationships with distributors, regional sales managers, and customers.
Requirements
To be considered for the Rotational Engineer role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree required.
- Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred.
- Coursework in simulation is preferred.

Salary is commensurate with experience, with a base compensation range of $75,000–$80,000. HYDAC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid holidays; PTO; 401(k) with company match; FSA; short-term disability; life insurance; and pet insurance.
