Operation Manager | Senai

Company Background:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of plastic corrugated tubing with over 50 years of experience, recognized for its patented smooth-bore design. The company provides custom solutions globally, supported by continuous R&D, a strong focus on quality, and compliance with customer and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise end-to-end production and daily operations for the plastic molding manufacturing process.
• Plan and coordinate operation planning, production planning, manpower, machine capacity, and production schedules to meet customer requirements and delivery targets.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met
• Monitor production performance, product quality, machine utilization, manpower efficiency, and safety compliance.
• Analyze and improve production processes for better efficiency and cost control.
• Identify production bottlenecks, reduce downtime and wastage, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support overall operations.
• Monitor operational KPIs, prepare management reports, analyze production issues, and implement effective corrective actions.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the plastic manufacturing / plastic molding industry, with experience in a supervisory or management position.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the plastic manufacturing industry
• Strong experience in planning, such as:production planning, operation planning, capacity planning, manpower planning, and production scheduling.
• Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for production planning, inventory, work orders, and operational monitoring.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and coordinate effectively across departments.

Salary Range: Up to RM15k
